REPORT TO REGIONAL SPRING MEETING

April 10, 2017, held at the TRAIL SENIOR CENTRE

GREETINGS FROM BALFOUR

Our Balfour Seniors Executive has been very active over the last year and has increased our membership to 54. Activities include games before our monthly potluck luncheons. Our well-attended shrimp and pasta dinner put on by two of our members are always well attended. We have guest speakers after most of our monthly meetings, which are held the first Thursday of the month, followed by refreshments.

Our ongoing computer digital learning classes will be started again this fall.

The hall is used by many groups including quilters, crib, bridge, poker, yoga, Anglican Church Guild, painters, Balfour Business and Historical Association, artists and Friends of Kootenay Lake.  We have also hosted birthdays and anniversaries, Celebration of Life and year-end parties.
